‘Vulnerable are at risk of abuse, too,’ say Herts police during awareness week

Police are marking Domestic Violence Awareness Week with a focus on the more vulnerable people in society.

The Herts force aims to raise awareness of abuse against the disabled or those with learning difficulties which, officers say, can range from controlling behaviour to physical and sexual violence.

Leaflets have been distributed and stickers placed in hundreds of community transport vehicles.

Call 101 if you know someone at risk.
