HOMELESSNESS charity DENS is hoping to entice more people to join its annual sponsored walk by changing the route so that it takes in the beautiful sights of Ashridge.

The 10 mile walk on Saturday, May 19 will start at Berkhamsted School and travel along the canal to Aldbury and up to Ashridge before circling back to Berkhamsted.

It is an opportunity to see the carpets of bluebells, which should be in full bloom.

Jenny Mass from DENS said: “There is a five mile and an eight mile option too.

“Last year about 30 walkers took part, raising over £3,000 for DENS.”
