Watch Children in Need’s Pudsey on his fundraising tour of Haven holiday parks

Well-known Children in Need mascot Pudsey has set off on a 26-day fundraising tour and he started the journey from Hemel Hempstead on Saturday.

Holiday firm Haven, which has its head office in the town, has pledged to take the yellow bear to each of its 36 resorts around the coast.

Between each park Pudsey will travel by a variety of transportation, from steam trains to donkeys and vintage cars to lifeboats.

The teams from the holiday parks will be taking part in sponsored swims, cycles, roller bladsing and runs alongside the famous bear to raise cash for BBC Children in Need.

Haven has pledged to raise £200,000 for the charity in 2013.

The firm’s charity co-ordinator Naomi Woodstock said: “We have already banked over £130,000, which is fantastic.”
