Wigginton Festival will be fun for all the family

editorial image

NOW in its fourth year, the Wigginton Festival, will be fun for all the family and help local causes to boot.

The event, on Saturday July 7 in Wickfield Meadow, on Wick Road, will raise money for Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care and the Friends of St Bartholomew’s Church.

The cash raised will be split equally between the two causes.

People will be able to enjoy themselves while helping the community as there will be a host of entertainment.

Visitors can enjoy live music throughout the day by 12 bands, plus there will be a variety of vintage vehicles on display at the classic car show.

In traditional country fete style, there will be a tug of war, ferret racing, a real ale festival and tombola.

There will also be market stalls, children’s rides, a climbing wall, charity auction and a hog roast.
