Witnesses wanted to Redbourn smash that left teen with fractured skull

Police are appealing for information following a collision on St Albans Road in Redbourn that left a teenage cyclist with a fractured skull on Saturday, March 17.

The incident happened at around 7.15pm when for reasons unknown a collision occurred between a bicycle and a blue Vauxhall Corsa.

The 17-year-old boy was taken to Watford General Hospital suffering from a head injury.

PC Gary Bangs from the Beds and Herts Roads Policing Unit, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have information in relation to this collision to come forward.

“Perhaps you saw the cyclist or blue Corsa prior to the collision taking place? If you have any information at all please contact us.”
