A CHURCH Hall window was smashed after it was targeted by mindless vandals.
People using the building behind St Peter and St Paul Church in Tring discovered the damage on Tuesday morning after yobs used a metal railing to smash the window.
Rev Huw Bellis said: “We think it is a railing from the vestry hall in Dolphin Square and someone has thrown it like a javelin.
“We have enough difficulty keeping the buildings going as it is without people doing this.”
The window cost the church thousands of pounds to replace in December.
Mr Bellis said: “The frustrating thing is that we have people working on a voluntary basis looking after these things. What is also annoying is that the money for it comes from donations.”
