Gadebridge rack up a hat-trick as hot streak goes on

Gadebridge continued their hot run of form as they recorded three impressive victories.

The men’s 6, ladies’ 4 and mixed teams were all in action and each side produced a convincing victory.

First up, the men made it four wins on the spin with a 6-3 victory over Comets – despite missing two key players.

The Gadebridge players did not let the absences affect them, and a make-shift side of Grant Hall, Richard Billing, Sanjay Patel, Tony Leetham, Gerald Hanson and Gary Watkinson kept their composure to secure the win.

Next up, the ladies enjoyed a more routine victory as they cruised to a 5-1 win over Warners End.

Liz Bateman, Lily Cayless, Laura Godfrey and Lesley Godfrey turned out for Gadebridge and delivered a top display to earn the win.

Not to be outdone, though, the mixed team produced an even more emphatic victory as they cruised past Bushey Eagles.

The side of Bateman, Hall, Carol Johnston, Hanson, Laura Godfrey and Billing swept their opponents aside to register a comprehensive 9-0 whitewash.
