Dacorum runners on track at Slough meet

There was a good turnout of Dacorum and Tring runners at the latest cross country meet at Slough on Saturday.

The ladies’ team had seven runners, led home by Alex Eykelbosch in 20th place.

Catherine Davies followed close behind in 23rd, ahead of Sarah Grover in 32nd, Wendy Pearson in 45th, Laura Merchant in 59th, and Carol Crawley in 64th.

The men’s race, meanwhile, included 15 Dacorum and Tring representatives.

Jack Parslow had a excellent run, finishing in fifth place, while Matt Salt was next home in sixth place and Andrew Cracknell was 18th on his return from injury.

They were followed by Alex Gardner in 71st place, Oliver Glyn in 100th, Andrew Del Nevo in 122nd, Andrew Trevillion in 124th, Stephen Shaw in 138th, Martin Arnold in 150th, Ken Perry in 151st, Antony Allen in 159th, Paul Glyn in 168th, Malcolm Sargent in 173rd, Peter Dollman in 177th, and Fabian Mills in 178th.

For the juniors, Rhys Rowlands was 29th in the U15 boys’ race, followed by Samuel Fielding in 31st.

Tom Dore came 15th for the U13 boys, and Joshua Van Heiningen was 36th, while James Glyn and Archie Pond were fifth and 54th, respectively, for the U11 boys.

The U11 girls were led home by Sasha Pond in 29th position, ahead of Maddie Perry in 42nd.
