The morning events gave the seven teams the chance to compete in activities including long jump, boccia, tennis and javelin, before taking to the track for individual events – including the 100m sprint, hurdles, 400 metres and the relay.
The afternoon culminated in a medal ceremony conducted by Mayor of Dacorum cllr Penny Hearn.
Overall victory on the day went to the team from East Herts who were worthy winners of the games trophy.
The event was organised by the Sportspace sports development team in partnership with Dacorum Mencap and Herts Sports Partnership.
Elaine Precious said: “Dacorum Mencap is proud of the close working relationship we have with Sportspace.
“This has culminated this year in a countywide event, which was a fantastic day for us all and follows the success of the local disability games last September.
“We had teams competing who have all been inspired by the Paralympics – an amazing event which had shown us exactly what they can do!”
