IT was party time at Hemel Town FC as players and staff let their hair down for a night of festive fun.

The ladies’ and men’s squads were both out in force, joining manager Tommy Widdrington and chairman Dave Boggins – amongst others – at the club’s Christmas party.

Guests were treated to a tasty meal, before Mr Boggins took to the mike to take up the role of quiz master.

The committee and management team led by example as they claimed the quiz crown.

The night was completed with a comedian and DJ.

Tudors programme editor Tony Conway, who was also among the guests at the festive shindig, said: “It was great to see such a high turnout from all of the teams, management, committee and our special guests, for a very enjoyable occasion.

“The night showed that the team spirit and camaraderie at this club is in very good health.”
