Comets Stars 7 Chorleywood Tigers 0

Comets had the run of the first half playing some lovely passing football. Chorleywood only troubled the Comet's keeper once. Goals came in the way of

a hatrick each for Alfie Keogh and Callum Wakefield and after a solo run beating several of the Tigers, a brilliant strike from Blake Manning. Chorleywood

were unlucky towards the end with a smash hitting the post. Solid defending from Kenny Parrot and Nick Botten meant it wasn't going to be their day and

allowed Comets to stay top of the league.

Result:

Comets Blues 2 - 3 St Albans East

Details:

A frustrating game saw Comets throw away the opportunity to increase there lead in the division. A slow start let St Albans score early and although Comets replied through a great cross from Cameron Brooks and an excellent finish from Oran Swales, it wasn't enough to get Comets going. The second half saw error after error and St Albans made the most of it scoring twice before Comets started to play. With ten minutes left it was oneway traffic and Oran Swales made the most of a rebound from Josh Prices shot to get one back. Throwing everything forward Comets could not finsih it off and suffered their third defeat of the season. Man of the Match goes to Oran and Cameron for their tireless effort

Match Report - Watford Friendly League Under 18's Yellow Division

Chipperfield missed out on the chance to lift the title after losing 2-0 away to nearest rivals Scrabble

The first half was a very tense affair with defences dominating but Scrabble scored the vital goal right on half time.

In the second half Chipperfield battled well and had a few chances to equalise but couldn't convert them and as they pressed forward Scrabble scored with virtually the last kick of the game.

The result leaves Chipperfield still within touching distance of the title needing 5 points from their last 3 games
