Berkhamsted 5-0 Hertford Town
Lawrence Bunker was on fire for Berkhamsted as he got all five goals in their crushing win over Hertford.
The Comrades’ top scorer had the golden touch in front of goal as Berko’s win took them into the top six in the table.
It took 35 minutes for Bunker to open the scoring, and from then on it was a masterclass in finishing from the Comrades striker
Bunker was booked before he put the Comrades ahead with a solo goal in the 35th minute – drifting past a few defenders before shooting past Alex Elf in the visiting goal at the Canal End.
He scored again at the back post soon after the second-half started.
On the hour mark, Tyler Hatherley played Bunker in and this time it was an exquisite lob over Elf that completed the hat-trick.
The hot-shot then hit the cross bar but nodded in the rebound for his fourth goal, and with the win already assured, substitute Adam Mead hit a long free-kick which Bunker headed home powerfully to round off the scoring with 5 minutes remaining.
There was still time for a final Hertford attack, but Ed Farmer pulled off a brilliant save in the closing stages.
