Derby ends up being 12-goal thriller
A thriller between two rival sides ended up as a 6-6 draw.
Berkhamsted Raiders were 4-1 down at half time to Hemel Town White in their U13 game, and completely turned things around to lead 6-4.
But two late goals from the visitors ensured the spoils were shared on a wet day in Berkhamsted.
Dan Drury bagged a hat-trick for Raiders, with Matt Dawson (2) also on target.
Adam Horwood and Jake Little battled well throughout and stand-in keeper James Spall was man of the match.
In the U9s Comets Kestrels and Echoes Youth also drew.
Echoes deservedly went ahead in the first half but Kestrels came back to equalise through Harry Smitten.
Hemel Stags Aces U11 Wasps lost their unbeaten record with defeat in the County Cup.
Accompanied by torrential downpour, the run was washed away as home side Aldenham Junior Tigers capitalised on Aces' errors for a 4-0 win.
But the stormy weather didn't cloud Stags Aces Lions' performance.
They thrashed County cup opponents Croxley Guild Red 12-1.
The First Division leaders worked hard, with Jake Strain (4), Ed Linnegar (3), Harry Misselbrook (2), Connor James (1), Mitch Bird (1) and James Verney (1) all getting their names on the scoresheet.
Man of the match went to Ed Linnegar, who worked hard and had a hand in most of the goals.
In the top U15s division Woodhall Wanderers beat Abbots 4-2 in a tough game.
Wanderers captain Ted Hazel who flicked the ball over the Abbots keeper for the opening goal, but it wasn't long before Abbots deservedly equalised.
Midway into the first half Sam Meunier broke through from the right to restore the Wanderers lead, but again Abbot's hit back just before the break.
Jason Potts converted a well-worked goal for number three, and he showed bravery to net the fourth and final goal towards the end.
Luke Watson was man of the match.
At U18 level, Watford Friendly League side Berkhamsted Raiders drew 1-1 with Harpenden Hawks, Ed HirstBerko's man of the match.
Echoes Orange won their league game at Harvesters.
Kyle Batchelor put Echoes ahead from an Ollie Gurney through ball, with Joe Wilson adding a superbly curled second.
Harvesters pulled one back 15 minutes from the end and equalised from a free kick two minutes into injury time.
But Kyle Batchelor's second right at the death secured the win. He beat a defender and steered the ball past the advancing keeper to make it 3-2 at the final whistle.
