Tring Athletic put in a lacklustre display as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat against struggling Hadley.
Athletic were missing six first team regulars, but would still have expected to come away with something against a Hadley side who had won just one of their last 11 games.
There was little action of note in the first half, but Hadley took the lead after the interval when Jordan Watson found the net moments after the home side had hit the bar.
Athletic brought on Michael Green and pushed Chris Salmon forward into midfield and they grabbed an equaliser in the 67th minute when Salmon’s precise pass allowed Ollie Butler to slot home.
Tring pressed forward for a winner, but it was Hadley who bagged the three points as Watson fired home his second goal of the game late on.
