Champions SWR Doors started their campaign with 3-1 victory against a very good Tring Athletic A side.

Goals by Tom Smith, Jeff Mensah and Rick Parkins earned the points but Tring can consider themselves a little unlucky.

Hemel Rovers started their season with a very poor display in the 2-2 draw with Kings Sports.

Rovers were 0-2 down inside 10 minutes but a second half header from Paul Hanafan and another by Sean Lane two minutes from time grabbed a point.

In Division One Bovingdon also made a poor start when going down 0-3 to AFC Storm, while Hemel Rovers reserves suffered a 2-1 loss at Oxhey FC. Brad Penhallow was the Rovers marksman.

Division Two new club Gadebridge FC started well with a 3-1 home win over Croxley.Reserves. Terry Jones, Jordan Baudains and Charlie Martindale all finding the net.

Tring Athletic B picked up a point at another new club, JC United, in a 2-2 draw.

Potten End gained all the points with a 3-1 scoreline at Croxley A. Rob Hopkins, Gavin Beale and Dale Jenkins got them off to a flyer.
