A STUNNING extra time hat-trick by Curtis Donaldson put Hemel Rovers through to the last-16 of the County Cup.

Evenly matched with Tring Athletic A throughout the 90 minutes, Hemel could not be separated from their opponents until Donaldson’s superb late treble.

Kings Sports also made it to the next round thanks to a 4-2 win over Glebe Social. Matt Straughton, Ben Alexander, Aaron McGovern and Chris Poutney got the goals.

Elsewhere, in the league, SWR Doors enjoyed a comfortable afternoon as they beat Harpenden Rovers 4-1. Joe Copson, Aaron Lewis, Alex McCarthey and Jack Wood were all on the scoresheet.

Rovers Reserves, meanwhile, came away from Glenn Sports with all three points

Goals from Ben Darby, Mylie Cash ,Oliver Buckley and a rare Dan Rees effort secured a 4-2 victory.

Bovingdon shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Sun Postal –Jamie Miller their scorer.

Hemel Rovers A were unlucky to go down 2-1 at home to Hunton Bridge, with Tate Bartlett getting the Hemel goal.

And it was a similar story for Tring Athletic B as they lost 2-1 at Harpenden Rovers Reserves.

Potten End, however, enjoyed a convincing win 4-0 over Oxhey Reserves thanks to goals from Dale Jenkins, Gary Carmalt, Dave Boswell and Rob Hopkins.

Hemel Sharpshooters, meanwhile, lost 4-2 at JC Utd in the Rous Cup. Steve Jones (2) was the Hemel marksman.
