Leverstock Green FC have announced that first team manager Dene Gardner will be stepping down at the end of the season, to be replaced by Paul Faulkner.

Faulkner moves up from the position of first team coach, with Gardner citing health problems and business commitments as his reasons for relinquishing his role at the SSML Premier Division outfit.

Leverstock Green FC chairman and secretary Brian Barter released the following statement: “Paul Faulkner, the first team coach, will be taking the position of manager for season 2015/2016.

“This is due to Dene Gardner having to reluctantly relinquish the post due to health problems and his business commitments.

“Dene will continue to be associated with the club in some capacity.”
