Five-star Mannion stars in Doves blitz

Hot-shot striker Adiel Mannion was the man of the moment as he fired Doves United to a 7-0 demolition of FC Intervino in their BSFL Division Two fixture.

Red hot Mannion helped himself to five goals, and Chad Pinching and Mitchell Cole completed the rout for the high-flying Doves.

Elsewhere in the league, Premier Division outfit Comets Sports Club had Alex McCarthy and Ray Wood to thank for a 2-0 victory at White Hart Rovers, while Leather Bottle drew 1-1 with VFC in Division One.

Ben Butler got the goal for Leather Bottle, with Marcus Tower replying for VFC.

FC Berko, meanwhile, picked up three points in a 4-2 away win at Hemel Hempstead Corinthians.

Matthew Shode bagged a brace for Berko, with Martin Jackson and Adam Godfrey also getting their names on the scoresheet.

Pete Austin and Daniel Lee got the goals for Corinthians.
