Watford Ladies forward Sarah Wiltshire has joined up with the Wales senior squad ahead of tomorrow’s World Cup 2015 Qualifier against Belarus.
The match – Wales’ first qualifying fixture – will be played at Cardiff City FC’s home ground, the Cardiff City Stadium.
Wiltshire and her team-mates will be looking to build on their 3-2 friendly victory over Estonia last month.
Wiltshire scored twice in that match, taking her international goal tally up to four.
Elsewhere, Kate Natkiel enjoyed a debut to remember for her loan club Brighton Women as they defeated Chesham Utd Ladies 5-4 in the FAWPL League Cup group stage.
Natkiel found the net less than a minute after kick-off, and Watford’s Chloe Gunn also featured in the match for Chesham.
Despite the result, Gunn contributed to a much improved performance from the team.
Fliss Gibbons, meanwhile, was on the scoresheet for her temporary club Gillingham Ladies as they went on to record a resounding 7-2 win in their group match against Tottenham Hotspur Ladies.
The goal maintains Gibbons’ impressive start with the Gills – taking her tally to three goals in as many games.
