Bonnie Horwood wants to make it third time lucky at Watford Ladies this season as she returns to the club for another shot at glory.
Horword was back in the Watford dressing room at Berkhamsted FC for the second time in her career last season, making 11 appearances on loan from Lincoln and scoring twice.
She’s back permanently for a third spell as Watford form part of a newly-introduced second tier of the FA Women’s Super League after finishing as runners-up in the Premier League National Division last term.
And Horwood is determined to go one step further this season and help Watford live up to their tag as one of favourites for promotion to the first division.
“It’s the third time I’ve come back to Watford,” said Horwood. “I was there originally and then I came back last year to play on loan and now I’m properly signed for them.
“They were my first choice when moving. I’ve always liked it when I have been there before and I feel at home when I play there.
“We’re hoping that with the same squad, who are one year older now, we will be a lot stronger and we can push on again.”
