Kings missed out on top spot in the league after suffering a humbling defeat to Bedwell Rangers.

The majority of the first half belonged to Bedwell, as they picked Langley off at regular intervals – thwarted on occasion by Kings keeper Vicki Taylor’s heroics in goal.

There was a brief respite just before half-time when Kim Nield pulled a goal back, but Kings went in at the interval 6-1 down.

The second half saw the home side still rampant, and they struck the post before scoring two goals in a six minute spell just after the hour mark.

Nield added a second for Kings, but Bedwell finished strongly to take their tally into double figures.

Kings will look to get back to winning ways on Sunday when they take on Evergreen Eagles at Dacorum Running Track, Jarman Park, kick-off 2pm.
