Kings Langley Ladies ready to do battle with the Foxes

Kings Langley Ladies start their pre-season friendly schedule with a prestigious tie away to Leicester City Ladies on Sunday.

Kings make the trip up the M1 ready to turn training form into practice, with the game getting under way at 2.30pm.

Kings Langley Ladies assistant manager Chris Walker said: “This is a proud moment for the team, and is a tribute to the hard work and effort both on and off the pitch that has gone into the club since it was founded in 2011.”

Kings already have two other matches in their pre-season schedule and, at the time of writing, were finalising a fourth.

The team are now looking for more players for the coming season which marks their first foray into Division Two of the Beds & Herts Womens League after being promoted at the end of last season.

Players must be aged 16 years or older, and ladies of any experience or ability are welcome.
