Leverstock Green 3 Oxhey Jets 0

Levy Green made it two wins on the spin with a comfortable victory over Oxhey Jets.

Green had been on a miserable run of form, but two wins in four days has seen Steve Heath’s climb two places in the MSSML Premier Division table to seventh.

In a game of few chances, Levy took their opportunities well to earn the points.

The opening goal arrived after 36 minutes as Ross Miller headed home Lee Bircham’s free-kick, and Green doubled their lead before half-time.

Bircham was again the provider as he found Lewis Pritchard who slotted in from a tight angle.

In a largely uneventful second half, Green wrapped up the win as Bekim Culaj made it 3-0 with a superb strike.

Leverstock will hope to continue their winning run when Colney Heath visit Pancake Lane on Saturday.
