Sarratt 3
 Long Marston 4

Long Marston made it through to the next round of the County Cup as they took advantage of the competition’s new roll-on-roll-off substitutes format.

Sarratt took an early lead but Marston responded positively and Paul Kent fired home the equaliser after 20 minutes.

Sarratt regained their lead, but Dean Roper’s rasping drive levelled things up again before the interval.

Marston used their substitutes well after the break, and Carl Dell made an immediate impact on his return to the field as he slotted home after 55 minutes.

Marcus Tower put Marston 4-2 up, before Roper was sent off for stamping with 10 minutes left.

Sarratt scored from the resulting free-kick, but Long Marston held on to secure the win.
