Magic Mason leaves Wolves running scared

A dominant Hemel Town Youth side made it through to the second round of the Challenge Cup.

The U10 team hounded Chorleywood Wolves and came away with a 5-0 win on a wet Sunday.

Mason Davis scored the first goal taking Hemel into a 1-0 at half time lead, before Adam Hobbs, Ted Green and Eddie Khan added a strike each in the second half. Mason went on to claim his brace to cap a good win.

Hemel Athletic U10s' game survived the weather but they lost at Whetstone.

Struggling with a big pitch, Athletic were 4-0 behind at the break but were far more competitive come the restart.

Man of the match Louis Mackenzie found his stride in central midfield with Samuel Norton getting on the end of an attacking move to make it 5-1 at the end.

Two super headed goals for Hemel Stags Aces BlackU10s helped them see off London Maccabi Lions.

Jamie Stone and Aaron Whitehead, who nodded in Callum Elmer's inch-perfect cross, made it 2-1 at the end.

Ben Reed proved why he is so highly rated with a man of the match display.

Berko Raiders U18s got bogged down in the mud and slipped 7-3 at home to St Albans Rangers, despite being ahead at the break.

Left Back Giles 'Gillis' Masters scooped the man of the match award with goals coming from James Wade (2) and Mike Sheraton.
