Arlon Printers West Herts Saturday League round-up

CHAMPIONS SWR Doors secured an emphatic 6-1 win at Oxhey Jets in an exciting week of league action.

Warren Drysdale led the way with a hat-trick, and Woods Mullan, Aaron Lewis and a 30-yarder from Rick Parkins secured the points.

Tring Athletic A, meanwhile, recorded a 3-2 victory over Kings Sports. Martyn Travers, Chris Icke and Lewis Taylor were their marksmen for Tring, with Brandon Murtagh and Chazi Hokoza replying for Kings.

Elsewhere, Hemel Rovers continued their dreadful start to the season with an 8-1 loss at home to Park Street. Sean Lane scored for Hemel but also missed a penalty.

Bovingdon were also beaten at home, losing 2-1 to Oxhey FC. George Loosely bagged their goal.

In other action, two goals from Mylie Cash enabled Hemel Rovers Reserves to take all three points away at Wheathampstead, while Gadebridge FC suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Tring Athletic B.

A single Warren Davies goal was enough for Hemel Sharpshooters to get the points at home to Croxley, and Potten End triumphed 5-1 over Hemel Rovers A.

For the villagers, Mike Pettingell and Dan Simpson both bagged braces, with Dale Jenkins also getting on the scoresheet. Aaron Boyer scored Rovers’ consolation.
