Poor form continues for hapless Leverstock

Leverstock Green suffered their seventh straight defeat as they went down 3-0 at Ampthill Town on Tuesday night.

Levy played some good football at times, but early Ampthill goals at the start of each half coupled with an inability to find the net scuppered their chances.

Ampthill took the lead through Lea Coulter after just four minutes and, despite a spirited Green response, the hosts doubled their advantage from the penalty spot shortly after half-time.

That effectively ended the game as a contest, and Coulter struck again to seal the win for Ampthill.
