Calor League Southern Premier Division leaders Hemel Hempstead Town will be eager to bounce back with a win against Frome Town tomorrow following last Saturday’s disappointing defeat at Bideford.

The Tudors were keen to get back to action against Biggleswade on Tuesday night but their hopes of a swift return to form were thwarted by a waterlogged pitch at Vauxhall Road.

Dean Brennan’s side will therefore be chomping at the bit ahead of tomorrow afternoon’s clash with struggling Frome Town, weather permitting.

The Tudors currently sit top of the division and boast an 11-point lead over second-placed Chesham United. Visitors Frome are 40 points behind Hemel in 18th place.

Town go into the game as clear favourites, and football statistics and predictions website betstatz.com suggests a big home win could be on the cards.

“The stats this week suggest there will be goals galore,” said betstatz owner Nick Gelis. “Frome have conceded 24 goals in their last seven league games – an average of 3.43 a game – while Hemel at home this season have averaged 4.75 goals a game; still the best home attack across Europe.

“Frome have been losing at half-time in 14 of their games this season and with Hemel’s strong home form I fully expect Frome to be losing at half-time this weekend.

“Therefore, this week’s prediction is Hemel to win at HT and FT and over 4.5 goals.”
