FOOTBALL: A number of Hemel Town’s first team players were given a good run-out as the reserve side beat AFC Wimbledon Reserves 3-1.

With no first team fixture scheduled, Tudors boss Tommy Widdrington used the game to get a closer look at some of his new charges in action.

Hemel emerged victorious thanks to goals from Dave Pearce, Lewis Toomey and Matt McEntegart.

With no game in midweek, the Tudors’ next first team match is an FA Trophy first round qualifier at home to Croydon Athletic on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
