Rovers Reserves Cash in as Mylie hits four

HEMEL Rovers Reserves striker Mylie Cash knocked in four of his side’s five goals in their Division One win over Wheathampstead.

Luke Penhallow completed the scoring as Rovers romped to a 5-1 victory.

In the Premier Division, a local derby between SWR Doors and Tring Athletic A ended in a 6-0 thrashing.

Aaron Lewis ,Chris Marsh ,Warren Drysdale ,Rick Parkin, Dan Hartley and Alex McCarthy all found the net as Doors romped to the win.

Bovingdon, meanwhile, slumped to another defeat as they lost 4-2 at Oxhey, despite goals from Michael Buttleman and Adam Putman.

Tring Athletic B team also lost again, this time 3-0 at home to Gadebridge.

It was better news for Hemel Sharpshooters, though, as they beat Oxhey Jets 4-3 in a thrilling encounter.

Steve Probert , Sean Sangster, Matt Reynolds and Luke Reynolds got the goals for Sharpshooters.

Hemel Rovers’ A side were slammed again as they slipped to a 7-2 defeat to Potten End.

Dale Jenkins, Dan Simpson, Rahul Thaker and Ross Edwards all scored for the villagers, with Tate Bartlett and Aaron Boyer getting the consolations for Hemel.

Elsewhere, in the Apsley Senior Charity Cup, Hemel Rovers thumped Philippine United 7-1 .

Paul Hanafan and Jordan Aikman grabbed two goals each, with Scott Webster, Curtis Donaldson and a Ray Wood thunderbolt completing the rout.

In the Peace Memorial Charity Shield, Kings Sports were knocked out 2-1 after extra-time by Hadley. Chazi Hokoza got the consolation.
