Free-scoring Kings Langley hit double figures for the second time this season as they thrashed Stony Stratford Town 10-0 to continue their pursuit of the SSML Division One title.
Alex Campana led the way with an excellent hat-trick, while Adam Hallissey and Lewis Pritchard both bagged braces, and Tom Carter, Gary Connolly and Callum Adebiyi were also on target.
Carter opened the scoring with a side-footed volley from a Campana free-kick, before Campana made space for himself to net the second from a Carter cross.
The visitors turned the screw just before the interval when Connolly scored after a neat one-two with Campana, before the latter somehow found the net when surrounded by three defenders.
The onslaught resumed in the second half when Hallissey made it 5-0 to the visitors, and Stony’s cause was made even harder when Matt Way earned himself a second yellow card.
A few minutes later, a Campana cross found Hallissey eight yards out with an embarrassment of time and space to make it 6-0, and the last eight minutes saw the demoralised home side capitulate further.
Campana hit the post before Pritchard netted with an acrobatic volley, and Adebiyi bagged a fine solo goal soon afterwards.
There was still time for Campana to complete his hat-trick from Jack Johnson’s cross, and the scorer turned provider again for Pritchard to pick his spot for a perfect ten.
Kings now enjoy a two-week break from action before getting back to business on December 28.
