BERKHAMSTED Raiders Girls Under-11s have been crowned Bucks FA League Cup champions.
The side produced a dominant display to see off Woburn 2-0 and take home the silverware.
Niamh Euman gave the side the lead after 20 minutes, before midfield maestro Anne Lane wrapped up the win in the second half.
Jess Potts, Chelsie Cella and tough-tackling Georgia Howe kept Woburn at bay, and Berkhamsted’s clean sheet was kept in tact by a superb two-handed penalty save from Molly Jarvis.
Holly Campbell also excelled in midfield as the team put in a fine all-round display.
Hemel Stags Aces Under-12 Lions, meanwhile, won the West Hertfordshire Youth League Division One title with a 5-3 win over Chorleywood Lions.
The Lions’ goals were scored by top-scorer Jake Strain, Harry Misselbrook, James Verney, and Mitch Bird (2), Andrea Nwagbara was named man of the match.
Woodhall Wanderers Under-16s kept their own title hopes alive with a 4-0 win over Tornado JSC.
Silky Gakou, Luke Watson and a brace taken by Emmanuel Palmer did the damage.
Berkhamsted Raiders Red Under-12s also won well, seeing off St Albans South 3-0 thanks to goals from Ben Ranger, Dan Macey and Sonny Norman.
