Six-a-side action for Kings Langley Ladies

Kings Langley Ladies took part in their second tournament of the summer, with two teams competing in the Watford Ladies 6-a-side tournament on Saturday.

After a hard opening round, the A and B teams both battled through to the Community Plate Competition.

Kings Langley A then beat Camden Town A courtesy of Nicole Barrett’s strike, while keeper Ruth Gorin and captain April Langton where the heroines as Kings Langley B beat Garston Blacks 4-3 on penalties after a goalless draw.

However, both sides saw their hopes ended in the quarter-finals .

Kings are inviting new players to join them at training on Sunday from noon to 1.30pm at High Street Green in Hemel Hempstead.
