Chelmsford City are offering a ‘pay what you want’ deal for the visit of the Tudors in their Conference South fixture on Saturday.

In addition to this, there will be a parrot Santa with free gifts for kids, breakfast available from 11.30am to 1pm, a beer festival, a mince pies and mulled wine stall, and a tombola.

Newcastle versus Chelsea will also be shown on a big screen from 12.45pm, and the Tudors Supporters Club will be running a coach to and from Chelmsford for fans.

The Tudors go into the game on the back of a 9-0 victory over St Margaretsbury in the Herts Senior Cup.

Hemel manager Dean Brennan said: “Chelmsford are very strong experienced team, with plenty of pace in wide positions.

“They are one of the biggest clubs in our league and have a fantastic supporter base.

“It’s another tough challenge for us but one we are really looking forward to. I expect it to be a very attack minded game as Chelmsford like to play free flowing football and play with two out and out wingers.

“We have had a excellent return from our November fixtures, let’s hope we can get December of to a similar positive start.”
