Hot-shots who catch the eyes of the coaches may be asked to join the Arsenal Soccer Schools Development Centre in Stevenage, where they can develop as players.

Head coach for the Arsenal Soccer Schools in Dacorum, Simon Blundell said: “We are looking for those players who are talented enough to show a good level of performance at the trial and who our coaches feel would benefit from our advanced training.

“We aim to improve them as overall players – working on all aspects of their game – to help them improve not only as individual players but as team players and to help them towards whatever footballing level they wish to achieve.”

Trials will take place from 6pm to 7pm for U8s and U9s, and from 7pm to 8pm for U10s and U11s.

There will also be a trial for goalkeepers aged seven to 14 on Wednesday, June 19 at Sportspace Berkhamsted from 7pm to 8pm
