Tring march into the semis

TRING Athletic booked a place in their second semi-final of the season with a 2-0 win over Colney Heath in the Premier Division Cup.

Tring started brightly and took a well-earned lead as George House fired home from outside the area.

Julian Robinson’s side had to show their defensive capabilities in the second half as Colney came out looking for an equaliser.

But in the 92nd minute, Vinnie Iannone slotted home Sam Mitchell’s cross to clinch the win.
