Tudors boss Brennan snaps up Anderson

Hemel Town boss Dean Brennan has bolstered the Tudor defence by bringing in experienced Conference player Phil Anderson.

Anderson joins the club from Conference North side Bishop’s Stortford, where he was the club captain last season.

Before then, the defender played more than 100 games for Thurrock, and also enjoyed stints at Aldershot Town, Southend United and Billericay.

Anderson has played at Conference level throughout his playing career – at either centre-back of left-back – and will bring experience to the Tudor back line.

The new signing made his debut for Hemel in Saturday’s victory over Kettering Town, and came off at half-time as a precaution when the Tudors were winning 4-0.
