Hemel Town’s on-loan Watford centre-back Jorell Johnson has confirmed that his stint at Vauxhall Road has come to an end.

Johnson made a good impression with the Tudor faithful during his stay with the club, but will not be returning next season.

Thanking the Hemel management team and players on Twitter, Johnson said: “The journey is over! I’d just like to say thank you to everyone at Hemel FC for making my loan experience an excellent one.

“A special thanks to Deano (manager Dean Brennan) and Maynard (assistant manager Stuart Maynard) for giving me my opportunity.”

He added: “Also to the lads – what a great bunch of guys and they’ve helped me a lot! Gonna miss them! All the best next season! #TudorArmy”
