Hemel Hempstead Town FC have clinched promotion to the Conference South, after an impressive win at Hungerford Town – combined with other results going their way – sealed the Tudors’ fate.
Hemel won 4-0 in today’s clash with in-form Hungerford, while Chesham lost 1-0 at Stourbridge, clinching the Calor league Southern Premier Division title for Dean Brennan’s side.
It is a huge achievement for the Tudors – and chairman Dave Boggins, in particular – who have justified their tag as promotion favourites to earn an historic title for the town.
Monday’s clash against Chesham was billed as the title decider, but it will now be party time for the jubilant Tudor faithful who can rest easy in the knowledge that promotion is already assured.
Advance tickets are on sale for our Monday’s game, and free U18 tickets are also available from Hemel Town FC sponsors Underwoods Solicitors.
The tickets will allow you fast-track entry and can be purchased from the bar at Vauxhall Road, The Greenacres Tavern in Bennetts End, The Greenaces II in Grovehill and Underwoods Solicitors in Marlowes.
All U18s need to do is visit the Underwoods Solicitors offices at 79 Marlowes to pick up the free tickets.
The turnstiles are expected to be extremely busy, so pre-purchase of tickets is strongly recommended.
