Arsenal Soccer Schools Hertfordshire will be launching a Mini-Gunners course at Sportspace Longdean and schools around the county in the New Year.

Specifically designed for children aged between two and five, the course has been running at Potten End First School for the past six weeks and has had some excellent feedback.

Arsenal Soccer Schools have been running courses similar to this in Dacorum for more than a year, focussing specifically on attitude, respect, skills, energy, new thinking, an all for one approach, and learning.

Simon Blundell, head of Dacorum development for Arsenal SS Herts, said: “We are looking to give children the best possible start in football and sport in general, with fun games looking to improve the early fundamentals of agility, balance and coordination.”

The sessions will run from 1pm to 2pm every Saturday for six weeks at Sportspace Longdean, starting on January 11.

This course is also available to schools and can be run to suit the school’s needs.

To register a place on the Longdean course, please call Simon on 07792 707345 or book online at www.playthearsenalway.com

Schools interested in joining the foundation scheme should call Sam Rawlings on 07773 061780.
