Hemel Hempstead wonder kid Sheyi Ojo has agreed to join Championship side Wolves on a season-long loan deal after the winger committed to a new long-term deal at parent club Liverpool.

The 18-year-old joined the Reds from MK Dons in 2011 but has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Anfield club. He was given his first-team bow when he made an appearance off the bench in Kuala Lumpur in a friendly against the Malaysia XI.

He had a spell on loan at Wigan last season, making 11 appearances, and has represented England at U16, U17 and U18 levels.

Ojo’s performances caught the eye in the UEFA Youth League last season, including a clinical brace for the U19s in a 3-0 win over Ludogorets.

Born in Hemel Hempstead, he has impressed a number of times for the England youth sides; in a 4-1 win over Poland U18s, he bagged two goals from the left wing after playing for 82 minutes.
