Pete Allam scored a brace for the Berkhamsted men's first team in their clash with Rickmansworth.

The Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead HC men’s teams picked up where they left off last week as they recorded a clean sweep of wins.

The first team set the tone with an emphatic 5-1 win over Rickmansworth, and the other four sides followed suit.

It was an impressive win from the firsts, who came back from a goal down to make it three wins on the spin.

Inspired again by goalkeeper Didi Seymour, Berko hit back with a goal from Pete Allam.

James Barron chipped the side into a 2-1 half-time lead, and they got the job done after the break with further goals from Jason Silver, Allam and Barron.

Elsewhere, it was a similar story for the second team as they fought back from 1-0 down to beat Bishop’s Stortford 4-2.

Paul Whitby drew Berko level, before Roger Payton rocketed home to make it 2-1.

Oli Bowman then sealed the win with two goals either side of a second for Bishop’s Stortford.

The third team were also victorious against a Bishop’s Stortford side – dominating from the off to bag a 3-1 win. Dan Pryor bagged a brace and Will Goodwyn were also on target.

The fourth team, meanwhile, had Simon Barron (2), Jeremy Steed, Brian de Mattos and Amish Adodra to thank for a 5-3 victory over West Herts.

Will Hanwell and keeper Terry Wintle also impressed for the Berko side.

The fifth team completed a perfect weekend for Berko, beating Rickmansworth 4-3 with the pick of the goals coming from Ed Holderness and Ben Moorhouse.
