Berkhamsted hockey sides adapting well to life in higher leagues

After so many recent promotions across the club, the Berkhamsted teams and players are competing hard and impressing in the highest leagues they have ever experienced.

The ladies’ second team recorded their fourth win in a row at the weekend with a 2-1 victory against St Neots, albeit they finally conceded their first goal of the season. They are sitting comfortably at the top of their league.

Elsewhere, the ladies 1s are fourth in their league and unbeaten in three of their first four league games, while the ladies 3s are sixth in their new league.

The men’s sides have all got points on the board and are showing promising signs as four of Berko’s five teams get used to higher leagues.
