Bonus point defeat keeps Tring on the up

RUGBY: Tring Rugby Club climbed one place in the league table, despite suffering a 24-19 loss to Bracknell on Saturday.

Although they were beaten, Tring were awarded a bonus point for the narrow margin of defeat. Any loss by less than seven points is enough to secure the consolation.

Bracknell took the lead in the third minute and the home side maintained their advantage throughout the match.

Nathan Lambden, Tom Newton and James Fouracre all scored tries for Tring, but it was not enough to claw back Bracknell’s lead.
