Hemel Hempstead’s Ed Arthur is set to face Nathaniel Wood in the preliminaries of BAMMA 15.
The 24-year-old holds a professional record of 2-0-0 and remains undefeated through the amateur ranks. Around half of his fights have been finished in the first round.
Rising star Arthur trains out of Hemel Martial Arts with Denniston Sutherland as coach and training partner.
Arthur, a scaffolder by day, first impressed BAMMA fans at BAMMA 14 last year when he defeated Ben Rees with a doctor stoppage in the first round.
Opponent Nathaniel ‘Prospect’ Wood has achieved a pro record so far of 4-0.
The 20-year-old has finished all his fights before the third round via technical knockout, submission and knockout. Woods fights out of Nova Forca and trains at Lions Pride MMA under Jimi Manuwa.
BAMMA 15 is at the Copper Box Arena in London’s Olympic Park on April 5, for another internationally televised night of fighting action from the world’s fastest-growing sport.
It also sees the hugely anticipated BAMMA debut of former Britain’s Strongest Man, Oli ‘The Spartan’ Thompson in the headliner against the ‘Albanian Psycho’ Gzim Selmani
