Fighter Mad Max will battle for British title

Martial Arts: Two fighters will represent Hemel Martial Arts in the ring this weekend.

Rising stars Jason Cooper, 19, and Edward Arthur, 21, will compete in their first semi-professional bouts at the Watford Colosseum.

Robert Murphy, 29, has been forced to pull out of the competition due to injury.

On Saturday night, mechanic Jason will face Sebastian Sleczka, while scaffolder Edward will compete against Theo Michailides. The fight night named Home Coming is being hosted by Kayo MMA and will be televised on Sky Active.

The duo train under professional fighter Denniston ‘Mad Max’ Sutherland, above, who is also stepping into the ring himself this October.

He will do battle against Andrew Punshon for the British Middleweight title on Saturday, October 29 in Sunderland.
