Golfers urged to join drive to help homeless

Golf: A charity is calling on golf players to tee off in a fundraising event for homeless people.

Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter (DENS) wants hackers to take part in a golf tournament at Whipsnade Park Golf Club on Monday, July 18.

Last year’s tournament had 60 players taking part and raked in more than £3,000.”

There will be prizes for winners of the 18-hole competition and extra mini challenges will be held as well as a three-course meal.
