BOXMOOR enjoyed a top week as all five of their teams went unbeaten.

The first XI put in a strong bowling display to defeat St Albans III and keep their promotion aspirations alive.

Imran Khan (37-4) and Prateek Malhotra (34-4) did the damage as St Albans III were skittled for 137, before David Coster (39) and captain Ian Gorringe (41n/o) put in an impressive 66-run sixth-wicket partnership to help secure victory.

Elsewhere, the second XI battled hard for a draw away to Northwood III, while the third XI gained a valuable win against fellow strugglers Wormley III.

Brook Townsend, meanwhile, scored another century in Boxmoor Sunday I’s 114-run over Lev Hill, and Alex Dukes hit 142 in the Sunday second XI’s victory at Reed.
