A new long-distance cycling fundraiser will be heading through Berkhamsted and Tring in May.
Ride Chartridge, Chesham’s first annual cycling event, will take place on Sunday, May 11 and will follow a 100k route that passes through Dacorum.
Run with the help of IBB Solicitors, the event and will raise money for Chartridge School.
Event organiser Sam Bassett said: “As a group of parents we want to help raise funds for the school and create a unique event that appeals to cyclists of all abilities.
“Central to our vision is to make this a fun occasion for the whole family.”
The 100k route will be available for serious riders, while there will also be a 45k option for anyone who just wants to get on their bike and experience a beautiful ride through the Chilterns.
There will also be a range of cycling-related activities at the school for the whole family.
Ride Chartridge is a British Cycling registered event, with both routes providing an excellent way to enjoy the scenery, meet new riders and raise money for the school.
Everyone who takes part can look forward to a clearly-signed route, a well-stocked lunch stop, a text-based timing service, event photographs and a goodie bag.
