Harry Miller from Little Hay Golf Club was a prize winner at the Herts Futures Tour event, supported by Lexus Hatfield at Stevenage Golf Centre

Harry took the Division 1 nett prize with a score of 21, with Redbourn’s Fleur Butler Wright finishing second.

Stanmore’s Varick Rajoyagan scored gross 31 over the par 3 course to take the Division 1 gross prize.

Last month’s winner, Ross Lea from Harpenden Golf Club, maintained his good form as gross runner-up on 33.

In Division 2, for handicaps of 25 and above, gross winner was Sebastian Knowlman from West Herts Golf Club. He too had a great score, 32, and has dropped his handicap in style, joining Division 1 for the next event at The Shire, London, in June.

Isabella Brunskill from Whipsnade Park Golf Club was also a prize winner thanks to a birdie 2 on the 3rd hole.

Three more Redbourn members went home with crystalware; sharp shooter Eddie Wade taking the nearest the pin prize in Division 1, while Sophia Fullbrook and Thomas O’Kane both received a commemorative trophy for joining the 2sClub, with their first birdie 2 of the 2015 season.

Over half of the 89 youngsters taking part played under their Futures Tour handicap and have received a handicap cut for the next event; testament both to the talent and enthusiasm of the young golfers and to the dedication of their PGA pros and club volunteers across Hertfordshire.
